Textbooks for higher education and education professionals that include theory and tutorials and/or workbooks. E-book, bound, trade-type 3-ring and hard cover options are available but choices are predicated upon JW Press market analyses.
Professional guidebooks for lay-persons, United States military, and law enforcement professionals.
E-books addressing philosophy for engaging in philosophical practice across disciplines, but especially for education and psychological betterment.
K-12 norm-referenced test preparation materials and teacher guidebooks. State-specific and national.
The following are required for a complete Submission Proposal:
-A query letter detailing the project.
-A detailed proposal including an overview, a summary of market competition.
- A chapter outline, author bio and marketing approaches and past media experience.
-A self-addressed, stamped envelope with sufficient postage to ensure the return of all materials desired by the author, or explicit instructions informing that the author does not wish the return of the materials.
Process Timelines
JW Press holds four editorial meetings per year for submissions. These occur in early January, April, July and October. If you would like your proposal considered at these sessions, please make sure it arrives by the 15th of the previous month. A response will generally be delivered within 8 weeks of the meeting. For example, for the January meeting, you would have a response by the end of February. Materials that are submitted by e-mail will not be considered. Please mail materials to:
